Sindh CM Murad meets President Zardari, PM Shehbaz

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Thursday calls on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr
ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Thursday called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr and discussed matters relating to mutual concerns.
Chairman Pakistan People’s Party and MNA, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and provincial Minister Sindh Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Maher were also present during the meeting.
During the meeting, the overall situation and ongoing development projects in Sindh came under discussion.
The president directed to expedite the work on the development projects in the province.
Additionally, the security situation and law and order in Sindh were also reviewed during the meeting.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and leader of Pakistan People’s Party Syed Naveed Qamar called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, here on Thursday.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema and Minister of State Ali Pervaiz Malik were also present on the occasion.
Overall political situation in the country was discussed in the meeting.
Progress on the matters pertaining to the ongoing federal government projects in Sindh and measures regarding public welfare being taken by both Sindh and the federal governments also came under discussion during the meeting.
The Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah thanked the Prime Minister for taking keen interest in the development of Sindh.
He also briefed the Prime Minister about the progress regarding the ongoing energy projects in the province, and the law and order situation.
