PESHAWAR:  Members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly attacked each other with kicks and punches during the assembly session, here on Tuesday.

The fight occurred between PTI MPA Naik Wazir and PTI-Parliamentarian MPA Iqbal Wazir in the assembly.

Earlier, the opposition members protested for not being given an opportunity to speak in the KP Assembly. The Speaker KP Assembly adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes due to the disturbance.

A heated argument erupted between lawmakers from both the treasury and opposition benches when the opposition members were denied time to speak by the assembly speaker.

The situation intensified when two members, one from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the other from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P), engaged in a physical altercation. Both they and their supporters in the gallery resorted to hitting each other with fists and kicks.
