Schools and colleges near Karachi’s Karsaz and Shahrah-e-Faisal areas will remain closed for four days due to the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (Ideas) 2024.

According to the Sindh Education Department, educational institutions on Sharea Faisal and Habib Ibrahim Road will stay closed from Tuesday, November 19, to Friday, November 22.

The closure aims to ensure smooth traffic flow during the exhibition at the Karachi Expo Center, which will take place from November 19 to 22.

Karachi Traffic Police has issued a traffic diversion plan for the event. Deputy Inspector General of Traffic Police Ahmed Nawaz stated that Sir Shah Muhammad Suleman Road, from Hassan Square to the Stadium, will be closed from 7am to 7pm during the exhibition.

Additionally, roads linking University Road and Stadium Road to the Expo Centre will remain closed for the same period. Small vehicles can use roads around the Expo Centre, but heavy traffic will not be allowed.
