Pakistan looks forward to work with new US administration, says PM Shehbaz Sharif

Following Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated him, wishing him a historic win for his second term.

Prime Minister stated that Pakistan looks forward to working with the upcoming U.S. administration. Shehbaz Sharif expressed that Pakistan is eager to collaborate with the incoming administration to strengthen and expand U.S.-Pakistan relations.

It is noteworthy that Donald Trump has been re-elected as the President of the United States, becoming the 47th president of the country.

Trump secured victories in 27 states, including Eastern Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia, while Kamala Harris won in 19 states.

In the U.S. presidential election, Trump gained 277 electoral votes, while Harris earned 226 out of a total of 538 electoral votes.

According to the results, Republicans won 188 seats in the House of Representatives, while Democrats secured 160. In the Senate, Republicans gained a majority with 51 seats, while Democrats won 43 seats in the upper house.
