A three-day curfew has been imposed in Shakai Tehsil of Lower South Waziristan to support ongoing security operations, restricting public movement during designated hours.

According to a notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Nasir Khan, the curfew will be in effect daily from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the Sangah and Anzar Cheena areas, starting Saturday.

The notification emphasized a complete ban on outdoor movement during curfew hours, citing the need for security forces’ safe mobility in the region.

Deputy Commissioner Khan urged residents of Shakai to cooperate during this critical period, stating, “Public support is essential for the smooth implementation of these measures.”

The curfew is part of intensified security efforts to address rising militancy in the area. Authorities assured that the restrictions would be lifted as soon as the situation stabilizes.
