Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir emphasized the importance of maintaining readiness to face any potential threats.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Munir visited Narowal and Sialkot, where he inspected a field training exercise. During the visit, he received a detailed briefing on the objectives and procedures of the exercise.

The ISPR stated that the exercise aimed to enhance professional skills and combat strategies, focusing on acquiring skills to tackle emerging operational challenges.

Various units, including armored, infantry, mechanized infantry, artillery, air defense, army aviation, and anti-tank guided missile units, demonstrated their joint fire capabilities during the exercise.

General Munir highlighted the need for continuous preparedness and adaptability in light of evolving security threats. He reiterated that realistic, mission-oriented training during peacetime is crucial for ensuring excellence on the battlefield if required.

The Army Chief emphasized the importance of maintaining constant preparedness to counter any potential threats and stated that the armed forces, with the firm support of the nation, possess the full capability to safeguard the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the beloved homeland from all kinds of threats.

According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army, the Army Chief, General Asim Munir, was welcomed by the Commander of Gujranwala Corps and the Inspector General of Evaluation and Training.
