On the directive of BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid, Quran and Fateha recitation ceremonies were simultaneously held across all regional BISP offices nationwide.

Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto envisioned the concept of the Benazir Income Support Programme during her exile in Dubai. This transformative initiative was brought to fruition in 2008 by then-President Asif Ali Zardari.

As Pakistan’s largest social protection programme, BISP has consistently worked to uplift underprivileged women, creating substantial positive change in their lives.

During the event, special prayers were offered for the eternal peace and elevated ranks in the hereafter of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Prayers also sought the continuation of her mission to serve humanity, Pakistan’s prosperity, and the advancement of BISP.

BISP staff paid heartfelt tributes to Benazir Bhutto, lauding her extraordinary public service and sacrifices. They reaffirmed their dedication to upholding her vision of empowering women and strengthening social security systems across Pakistan.
