The Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, has stated that Pakistan should have at least 100 burn hospitals.

Speaking at the 20th anniversary ceremony of the Burns Center at Civil Hospital, Kamran Tessori extended his heartfelt congratulations, calling the center, established in 2004, a historic milestone.

He emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships and the role of Friends of the Burns Center, considering them a symbol of a sustainable vision. “Pakistan should have at least 100 burn hospitals. The role of governments is not only to provide land but also to build hospitals,” he said.

The Sindh Governor assured full cooperation to the Burns Center administration and stressed the necessity of establishing burn wards in every district of Sindh.

It is worth noting that a simple yet dignified ceremony was held at the Governor House to mark the 20th anniversary of the Civil Hospital Burns Center, where founder Arjumand A. Qazi, Dr. Shaista Afandi Rais, and Mohammad Abdullah Firoz were in attendance.
