Major martyred, 13 Khawarij killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Pakistan Army Major embraced martyrdom, while thirteen Khwarij were sent to hell in three separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, according to ISPR.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in general area Jani Khel, Bannu District.

During the conduct of operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location and resultantly, two Khwarij were gunned down.

Another intelligence based operation was conducted in North Waziristan District. In ensuing fire exchange, five Khwarij were effectively neutralized by security forces, while eight Khwarij got injured.

However, during intense exchange of fire, Major Muhammad Awais, Pakistan Army officer, who was leading his troops from the front embraced martyrdom.

In a third encounter which took place in South Waziristan District, own troops successfully neutralized six Khwarij, while eight Khwarij were injured.

Sanitization operations are being carried out to eliminate any other Khwarji found in the area.

The ISPR stated that the security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism, and the sacrifices of our courageous soldiers further reinforce this determination.
