LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched Pakistan’s biggest Chief Minister Honehar Scholarship Program, here on Wednesday.

Addressing the launching ceremony at Punjab University, she said that under this program, scholarships are being provided strictly on merit without any discrimination.

She said that a total of thirty thousand scholarships are being provided out of which female bright students will get eighteen thousand scholarships which is sixty percent of total scholarships.

She said that the government will provide laptops to bright students as well from next month.

She said that ten thousand electric bikes have been provided to students while twenty thousand bikes are in the pipeline.
