Nawaz asks Shehbaz to focus on national interest in PTI talks

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is working to involve PML-N President Nawaz Sharif in discussions on the Madrasah Registration Bill.

On Sunday, PM Shehbaz met Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umra, where they discussed the country’s political situation. During the meeting, PM Shehbaz also updated Nawaz about his recent visit to Saudi Arabia.

In a separate meeting, the prime minister met Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmed Khan to discuss the political landscape of the country.

Additionally, PM Shehbaz held talks with PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi to review preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy. Naqvi briefed the PM on the latest developments for the tournament.

PM Shehbaz praised Naqvi’s strong stance on the Champions Trophy, expressing full confidence in his leadership.

“You have voiced the sentiments of 240 million Pakistanis at the ICC. For us, Pakistan’s honor comes above everything else,” the prime minister said.
