The Sindh government has declared a two-day public holiday on December 25 and 26.

As per the official notification, December 25 will be observed as Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birthday, while December 26 has been designated as a holiday for Christian employees to celebrate Christmas. Government offices across the province will remain closed on both days.

This announcement coincides with preparations for Quaid-e-Azam Day, a national holiday commemorating the life and contributions of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.

Additionally, the State Bank of Pakistan has announced that all banks will remain closed on December 25.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah, born on December 25, 1876, is celebrated annually on this date as part of Quaid-e-Azam Day or Yom-e-Quaid. The day is marked by various events and ceremonies throughout Pakistan to honor Jinnah’s leadership, vision, and role in the nation’s creation.
