Azfar Ahsan re-elected as President of MAP’s new executive council

Karachi: The newly elected office-bearers and council members of the Marketing Association of Pakistan (MAP) have been announced. Mohammad Azfar Ahsan, founder and chairman of Net Shell Group, has been re-elected as president.

Omar Ahsan Khan, CEO of Dawlance (Private) Limited, will serve as vice president, while Erum Shakir Rahim, Vice President and General Manager at GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan, will take on the role of honorary secretary.

Khwaja Shah Zain Munir, Executive Director at English Biscuit Manufacturers (Private) Limited, has been appointed as honorary treasurer.

The council members include: Saira Awan Malik, President of TCS (Private) Limited; Ali Akhai, Chairman of Martin Dow Limited; Sami Wahid, Managing Director of Mondelez Pakistan Limited; Talib Syed Kareem, President of Institute of Business Management; Amina Khateeb Parcha, Managing Director of Mindshare Pakistan; Syed Imran Ahmed, Director at Peace (Private) Limited; Jahangir A. Rashid, Director at Dalda Foods; Jameel Ahmad Mughal, COO at McDonald’s Pakistan; Sadia Dada, Chief Distribution and Marcoms Officer at K-Electric Limited; Imran Haleem Shaikh, Deputy CEO at Bank Islami Pakistan Limited; and Raida Latif, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer at Pakistan Stock Exchange.

On this occasion, Azfar Ahsan stated, “The marketing industry is going through a transformative phase, where innovation, adaptability, and collaboration are the foundation of success. It is an honor for me to be re-elected as President of MAP, and I am excited to work with this outstanding team, which includes successful leaders from various industries who are forward-thinking.
