Bangladesh’s PSO meets Defence Secretary to discuss strengthening bilateral defence cooperation

RAWALPINDI: On Friday, Lt Gen S.M. Kamrul Hassan, the Principal Staff Officer (PSO) of Bangladesh’s armed forces division, along with his delegation, visited Secretary of Defence, Lt Gen Muhammad Ali (Retd), in Rawalpindi.

During the meeting, the Defence Secretary warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and highlighted Pakistan’s strong commitment to its relations with Bangladesh, according to a press release issued by the ministry.

The PSO conveyed a message of goodwill from the people of Bangladesh, expressing the country’s aspiration for a future filled with strengthened cooperation between the two nations.

The discussions focused on expanding bilateral defence ties across various domains. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration and expressed a mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation in areas beneficial to both countries.
