Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), met with Hamas leader Hasan Darwish in Doha, Qatar.

During the meeting, Hafiz Naeem praised the resilience of Gaza’s people and Hamas, calling their struggle a symbol of strength. He described the recent ceasefire as a victory for Hamas, claiming that Israel failed to achieve its military objectives.

Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman also highlighted Pakistan’s support for Gaza’s rebuilding efforts, saying that Pakistanis are committed to contributing to the reconstruction. He emphasized solidarity with the Palestinian people, expressing that his delegation’s visit symbolized the support of the Pakistani nation.

Hasan Darwish thanked Jamaat-e-Islami and the people of Pakistan for their consistent support. He also expressed hope for ongoing cooperation from Pakistan in rebuilding Gaza and addressing issues faced by the Muslim Ummah.
