Dense fog has severely disrupted traffic flow across various cities in Punjab, including Lahore, during the night between Wednesday and Thursday.

The heavy fog has led to the closure of multiple sections of the motorway. A Motorway spokesperson confirmed that Motorway M2 (Lahore to Kot Momin), Motorway M3 (Faizpur to Darkhana), Motorway M5 (Shershah to Zahir Pir), and Motorway M11 (Lahore to Sialkot) are all closed to traffic.

Motorway police have advised drivers to use the Grand Trunk (GT) Road as an alternative route. They have also urged motorists to drive cautiously, maintain slow speeds, and use fog lights for better visibility.

Additionally, authorities have requested people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travel. Dense fog has also impacted traffic on the National Highway in several areas of the province due to low visibility.
