The year 2025 will feature four eclipses—two solar and two lunar—according to the Meteorological Department. These events will be a mix of visible and non-visible phenomena depending on the region, including Pakistan.

The first lunar eclipse is set for March 14, beginning at 8:57 am. However, it will take place during daylight hours and will not be visible in Pakistan.

The second lunar eclipse, a penumbral one, will occur on the night of September 7-8 and will be visible in Pakistan, Europe, Asia, and Africa, offering a celestial treat for observers in these areas.

Regarding solar eclipses, the first will occur on March 29 but will not be visible in Pakistan. Similarly, the second solar eclipse, happening between September 21-22, will also remain invisible to viewers in Pakistan.

These eclipses of 2025 underscore the variety of astronomical events expected throughout the year, with their visibility varying across different parts of the world.
