Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have congratulated the Pakistan cricket team on winning the first Test against the West Indies.

In his statement, President Asif Ali Zardari praised the team for their excellent performance in the first Test and commended their outstanding display of cricket against the West Indies.

He expressed his best wishes for the future of the Pakistan cricket team, hoping they will continue to perform well in the times ahead. “We hope the streak of victories will continue in the future,” he added.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also lauded the national cricket team’s performance in the first match of the Test series against the West Indies.

Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the nation on the national cricket team’s victory and also commended the team management for their efforts.

He further stated that all the players, especially Sajid Khan, demonstrated outstanding performance, and the entire nation is proud of the cricket team. He expressed hope that the streak of victories will continue in the future.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan defeated the West Indies by 127 runs in the first Test match played in Multan, taking a 1-0 lead in the series.
