The Department of Special Education in Punjab has announced new school timings as schools reopen on January 13 after the winter holidays. Special education institutions will operate from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Fridays, students will be dismissed early at 12:00 PM.

The institutions, which have been closed since December 20, will resume operations with these adjusted timings to accommodate the ongoing cold wave in the region.

To further assist students during the chilly weather, the department has relaxed the uniform requirements, allowing students to wear warmer clothing. This policy will be in effect from January 13 until February 15.

Additionally, all public and private schools in Punjab are set to reopen on the same date, with no further extensions to the winter holidays announced by the provincial government.

Despite the cold conditions, classes will resume as planned, ensuring students can return to their studies in a comfortable environment.
