ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan, led by Chief Justice Mr. Justice Yahya Afridi, has made significant progress in rapidly clearing cases, disposing of 7482 cases from October 28, 2024, to January 3, 2025. During this period, 2,950 new cases were introduced, demonstrating the Court’s efficiency.

Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, alongside fellow judges, has worked tirelessly to ensure the highest court remains accessible and responsive to the public. A strong emphasis on judicial reforms is being implemented to enhance performance, efficiency, and transparency within the judiciary.

The introduction of advanced information technology systems is streamlining administrative processes, enabling better case management, faster decision-making, and the availability of instant certified copies through e-Affidavits.

Additionally, mechanisms for collecting feedback from stakeholders—legal professionals, litigants, and civil society—are actively being used to ensure accountability and public satisfaction.

Recognizing the vital role played by district courts, Chief Justice Afridi has personally visited remote districts across Pakistan.
