Balochistan Plays Key Role in Pakistan’s Economy: Laghari

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari emphasized the vital role of Balochistan in Pakistan’s economy while addressing the launch of the book “Balochistan: Air-Panoramas & Landscapes” by Aziz Ahmed Jamali and Tahir Khan Kayani at the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) on Friday.

Expressing his appreciation for the event, Awais Leghari stated, “I am fortunate to be present at this book launch ceremony today”

He also acknowledged his personal connection to the region, adding, “Our tribe has a deep and historic connection with Balochistan”

The minister praised the book for offering fresh perspectives on the province, remarking, “This book has given me insights into Balochistan that I was previously unaware of,” He further lauded the authors for their remarkable work, saying, “The authors have beautifully captured the true essence of Balochistan”

Discussing the region’s untapped potential, Leghari stressed the importance of promoting Balochistan’s scenic beauty and natural resources, declaring, “We will work to bring Balochistan’s hidden scenic beauty to the world,” He also highlighted “The region is rich in natural resources”.

“It is essential to showcase the geography and culture of all regions of Balochistan to the world,” he stressed.

The event concluded with the inauguration of a painting exhibition by Awais Leghari.
