Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir encouraged students from universities and colleges across Pakistan to focus on academic excellence, skill development, and contributing to national progress.

Addressing the gathering, the army chief urged students to excel in their studies and acquire skills that can positively impact the country’s development, as stated by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

General Asim Munir praised the energy, creativity, and potential of Pakistan’s youth, highlighting their role as the future leaders of the nation. He emphasized the importance of equipping themselves with knowledge and expertise to drive the country’s growth.

The COAS also spoke about external challenges, particularly the threat of trans-border terrorism, and reaffirmed the army’s dedication to protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty and security.

He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the people in the fight against terrorism and expressed gratitude for their resilience and unwavering support for the armed forces and law enforcement agencies.

General Asim Munir further urged students to embrace “Pakistaniat,” fostering pride in Pakistan’s history, culture, and values, as an essential part of their intellectual and personal growth.
