Gas cylinder blast in Peshawar leaves 12 injured

A gas cylinder explosion at a roadside café near Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) in Peshawar on Saturday left 12 people injured.

Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene and began transporting the injured to a nearby hospital.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson Bilal Ahmed Faizi, firefighters swiftly managed to bring the fire under control.

Rescue officials confirmed that the injured were receiving medical treatment at Khyber Teaching Hospital.

A few days earlier, a gas leak explosion at a private hospital in Pishin district, Balochistan, injured at least seven people.

The blast occurred near the bypass, causing significant damage to the hospital building, shattering walls and windows.
