Saudi Arabia has implemented a revised visit visa policy for 14 countries, including Pakistan.

Under the new regulations, authorities have discontinued the one-year multiple-entry visas for tourism, business, and family visits. Visitors from these countries are now only eligible for single-entry visas.

The affected nations include Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia, and Yemen.

This policy change aims to curb unauthorized Hajj pilgrimages, as some individuals had been using long-term visit visas to circumvent the official pilgrimage quota.

The new rules came into effect on February 1, 2025.
