ISPR confirms 11 Khwarij killed in KP operations

RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed eleven Khwarij during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.

“On 26-27 March 2025, eleven Khwarij were killed by the security forces in four separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province”, the ISPR said.

Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District.

During the operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location and killed five militants. In a second operation in the same area, troops successfully neutralized three more Khwarij.

In another encounter in the Miran Shah area of North Waziristan District, troops effectively neutralized two Khwarij. In a fourth operation in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan District, Security Forces killed one Khwarij.

ISPR stated that Security Forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the killed Khwarij, who had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities. The forces are conducting sanitization operations to eliminate any remaining Khwarij in the area, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism.
