MULTAN: A mini truck collided with a pickup near here on Sunday morning, injuring at least nine people, the News reported.

Rescue officials reported that a mini truck crashed into a pickup carrying commuters near Head Naubahar. The collision left nine commuters with multiple injuries.

Rescue officials shifted five injured individuals—Nasir (25), Aqeel Ahmed (26), Jahangir (16), Zahid (31), and Jind Wada (19)—to Nishtar Hospital after providing first aid. They treated four others with minor injuries on the spot.

Earlier, a speeding truck hit a motorbike crossing Daraban Road near Tekin Adda in Dera Ismail Khan, killing at least three people, including two brothers.

The accident killed three people, including two brothers riding the motorbike. Rescue officials identified them as Irfan, son of Ismatullah, and Saifullah, son of Ismatullah, both residents of Kotla Habib, while the third victim remained unidentified.

Earlier, a passenger van carrying devotees to the Shah Noorani Shrine crashed near Hub, killing one person and injuring 25 others.

The accident occurred near Weirab Naddi when the bus lost control on its way to the shrine. Rescue officials rushed to the accident site and swiftly transported the injured to nearby hospitals for immediate medical attention.
