Pakistan and Bangladesh to enhance cooperation in multiple sectors

Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation across all areas of mutual interest.

This understanding was reached during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Bangladesh’s Advisor for Foreign Affairs, Touhid Hossain, held on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah.

The discussions took place in a cordial atmosphere, reflecting the fraternal bond between the two nations. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum in their bilateral relations.

Emphasizing the historical, religious, and cultural ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing cooperation, particularly in trade and people-to-people exchanges.
