LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will provide free Iftar to fans attending the Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final between New Zealand and South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on March 5.

The PCB stated that spectators could present their match tickets to receive an Iftar box with dates, juice, and a mini pizza. Additionally, food stalls inside the stadium will remain open for fans to buy other snacks and beverages.

This initiative enhances the match-day experience during Ramadan, allowing spectators to break their fast comfortably while enjoying the high-stakes Champions Trophy 2025 game.

With the match starting at 2 PM and Iftar scheduled for 6:05 PM, the PCB is making a commendable effort to enhance the match-day experience, turning it into a celebration of both cricket and community during the holy month.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 returns after an eight-year break, following the last tournament in 2017, where Pakistan defeated arch-rivals India in the final.

The eight-team tournament will span 19 days, featuring 15 matches in Pakistan and Dubai.

For the initial stage, the organizers divided the teams into two groups. Each team will play three group-stage matches, and the top two from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
