MAKKAH: A 26-year-old Belgian youth, Anas Al-Razqi, has arrived in Saudi Arabia on a bicycle to perform Hajj, completing a thousand-of-kilometres-long journey that spanned several countries and countless challenges.

Inspired by the sacred duty of Hajj, Anas began his remarkable journey during the holy month of Ramadan, while Muslims around the world were engaged in worship and reflection.

His journey is being hailed as a symbol of determination, faith, and endurance, as he crossed borders and terrains with a single purpose: to fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam. Anas Al-Razqi cycled a staggering 4,500 kilometres to reach Makkah for the Hajj pilgrimage.

Beginning his journey during the blessed month of Ramadan, Anas travelled through several countries, including Austria, Italy, Bosnia, and others, before finally arriving in Saudi Arabia.

Anas Al-Rizqi shared that he began his journey while fasting, covering approximately 100 kilometers each day. He described the experience as a dream, a blessing, recounting how he often found shelter for the night in mosques.
