The government has officially declared a public holiday from Thursday, June 5, to Monday, June 9, 2025, in observance of the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha, one of the most significant celebrations in the Islamic calendar.

During a recent Cabinet meeting led by Kuwait’s Acting Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al Sabah, it was announced that a five-day Eid holiday will be observed for all government departments and public institutions.

However, organizations with special work requirements have been given the option to set their own schedules to ensure essential services continue without disruption.

Government employees are expected to return to work on Tuesday, June 10, after the Eid celebrations.
