In a major relief for Hajj pilgrims, Pakistan’s airspace has been fully reopened for all types of flight operations, as confirmed by a spokesperson from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The development follows a temporary suspension caused by recent security tensions. With the airspace now cleared, all Hajj flights will proceed as per schedule, ensuring that the spiritual journey of thousands of pilgrims remains uninterrupted. According to the ministry, a total of 10 Hajj flights were cancelled during the suspension.

Despite the disruption, 19,669 Pakistani pilgrims have already arrived in Saudi Arabia, the spokesperson added. The ministry is working closely with airlines and relevant authorities to adjust future schedules and minimize any further inconvenience to pilgrims.

Hajj pilgrims and their families have been advised to stay in close contact with their respective Haji Camps for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding flights and travel arrangements.
