President Asif Ali Zardari visited Gujranwala Cantt, where he was received by Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir.

The President paid tribute to the Armed Forces on the success of “Operation Haq” and saluted the sacrifices of both military and civilian martyrs.

President Zardari congratulated the forces on the successful completion of “Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs,” stating that the enemy’s aggression was responded to within minutes — something history will remember.

He further said that the Pakistan Armed Forces are a symbol of national unity and integrity. The President also praised the dedication and combat readiness of the officers and soldiers.
