Karachi: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, visited Jinnah University for Women in Karachi, where he received an enthusiastic and warm welcome from the university administration and students.

During his address, the DG ISPR shed light on the Pakistan Army’s strategic efforts and sacrifices in “Operation Baniyan Mersous,” explaining how the armed forces successfully destroyed the enemy’s malicious intentions. He emphasized that the operation was not just a military effort, but a united movement in which the Pakistani public, especially students, played a crucial role. Their participation, he noted, helped permanently dismantle India’s strategic myths.

Highlighting national issues, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif reaffirmed that “Kashmir is Pakistan’s lifeline.” He also praised the people of Balochistan, stating that they are deeply connected to Pakistan through strong bonds of religion, culture, and tradition. He stressed that a handful of terrorists from “Fitna-e-Hindustan” (India’s mischief) cannot harm the deep-rooted relationship between Balochistan and the rest of the country.

The university students and faculty paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for their continued success and bravery. The students passionately expressed their loyalty, saying, “We belong to the Armed Forces, and the Armed Forces belong to us.”

They also emphasized that the bond between the public and the military has always been and will always remain unbreakable. The session concluded with students displaying great enthusiasm and requesting more such interactive events in the future.
