Four terrorists were killed in an armed encounter with DG Khan Police in the Kot Mubarak area, according to a statement issued by Punjab Police.

The police reported that during the exchange of fire, other terrorists managed to flee by taking cover behind bushes and sand dunes in the area.

Law enforcement recovered weapons and explosives from the deceased terrorists.

Police sources said they had received prior intelligence about foreign terrorists moving in the border area between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These militants were reportedly creating fear among local people by attacking different places.

Based on the intelligence, police teams quickly moved in, surrounded the area, and carried out a targeted operation. Punjab Police said the terrorists used advanced weapons and launched a strong attack, but were eventually defeated. Officials said the terrorists’ plans were stopped because of the quick and effective police response.
