Light rain is likely in Karachi and some areas of Sindh on Thursday evening/night and Friday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

A seasonal low is present over northeast Balochistan, while monsoon winds are affecting upper parts of the country. A westerly wave is also active in the region.

Due to these weather patterns, most areas of Sindh will experience hot and humid conditions. However, there is a chance of light rain in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, and coastal regions during the evening and night.

On Friday, rain is expected in Tharparkar, Umerkot, and some coastal areas, while other parts of the province will continue to face muggy weather.
