Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session scheduled for today has been postponed until July 24. The session was presided over by Speaker Babar Salim Swati.

Members of PTI boycotted the assembly session. The session began after a delay of 2 hours and 24 minutes, and immediately upon start, a quorum was raised. When Sher Ali Arbab pointed out the lack of quorum, Speaker Babar Saleem Swati directed the counting. Only three members from the government benches were present.

It was expected that 25 members elected on reserved seats would take oath today. However, due to the lack of quorum, the session was postponed until July 24.

Speaker Babar Saleem Swati announced that the quorum was not complete and that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session would be adjourned until July 24.

As he announced the postponement, he got up and left the chamber.
