Islamabad: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has dismissed reports about President Zardari’s resignation and the Army Chief taking over the presidential office.

In a statement issued on the social media platform X (Twitter), Mohsin Naqvi said that he knows who is behind the campaign targeting the President, Prime Minister, and Army Chief, and he also knows why it is being done and who will benefit from it.

He stated that there has been no discussion about the President’s resignation, nor is there any such plan, and that the Army Chief is not interested in assuming the presidency.

Naqvi emphasized that the President of Pakistan maintains a strong and dignified relationship with the military leadership, and that the Army Chief’s sole focus is on Pakistan’s strength and stability.

The Federal Minister for Interior further conveyed a message to those who involved with enemies, do whatever you can. We will do whatever is necessary to strengthen Pakistan.”
