Pakistan faces a crucial encounter today as they take on Bangladesh in the second T20 International, looking to bounce back after a heavy defeat in the series opener.

The second T20I between Pakistan and Bangladesh is scheduled to be played today. In the first match, host Bangladesh comfortably defeated the Green Shirts by seven wickets, taking a 1-0 lead in the series.

Pakistan’s batting line-up struggled in the opening game, failing to play their full twenty overs and being bowled out for just 110 runs in the final over.

Bangladesh chased down the target in the sixteenth over, with opener Parvez Emon scoring an unbeaten 56 runs. To keep the series alive, Pakistan must secure a victory in today’s match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

Pakistan, aiming to bounce back and level the series, are fielding Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris (wicketkeeper), Salman Ali Agha (captain), Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Nawaz, Khushdil Shah, Abbas Afridi, Faheem Ashraf, Abrar Ahmed, and Salman Mirza.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh have Tanzid Hasan and Parvez Hossain Emon opening the innings, followed by Litton Das (captain and wicketkeeper), Towhid Hridoy, Jaker Ali, Shamim Hossain, and Rishad Hossain forming the middle order. The bowling attack features Mahedi Hasan, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Hasan Mahmud, and Shoriful Islam.

With both teams stacked with talent, the match promises an exciting contest between bat and ball.
