The Ministry of IT and Telecom (MoITT), in partnership with the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), has launched the Prime Minister’s Youth Program—Industry Placement initiative.

This six-month paid internship is for final-year IT students and recent graduates, giving them a chance to gain real, hands-on experience in the industry. Selected interns will work with top IT companies in Pakistan and receive a monthly stipend of PKR 30,000.

MoITT says the program aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry needs, helping young people improve their job prospects and encouraging innovation. It also supports the government’s goal of boosting Pakistan’s IT sector and building a stronger, more skilled workforce.

Applications are now open, and candidates can apply through the official portal: skills.techdestination.com.
