Government opens 3,000+ new jobs for police department

The Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control has announced 3,229 new vacancies for constables (BPS-07) in the Federal Constabulary. The jobs are open to male and female candidates from all provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: 18 to 22 years
  • Education: Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent from a recognized board

  • Height: 5 feet 6 inches (males), 5 feet 4 inches (females)
  • Chest (males only): 33–35 inches
  • Running test: 1,600 meters in 7 minutes (males), 1,600 meters in 9 minutes (females)

Recruitment Process:

The selection will be made through:

  • A physical test (height, chest measurement for males, and running).
  • Advertisement
  • A written test with multiple-choice questions.
  • An interview and document verification.
  • Candidates must bring their original documents on the test and interview day.

According to officials, minor changes have also been made to the recruitment SOPs this year. Successful applicants will receive two uniforms and essential equipment after joining.
