Karachi: NADRA announces to open courts for public issues on Aug 29
Karachi: On the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will hold open courts in Karachi on Thursday, August 29, 2025, to listen to public concerns and provide on-the-spot help for document-related issues.
In a social media announcement, NADRA said it will hold two sessions at key locations:
NADRA encouraged residents to attend the session closest to their home and bring relevant documents to resolve issues related to CNICs, Family Registration Certificates, and other identity services.
These open courts are part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to improve public service and ensure greater transparency.
NADRA also highlighted its Pak ID mobile app, which allows citizens to apply for ID documents, upload required files, track applications, and make payments directly from their phones. This service is particularly useful for overseas Pakistanis and those who prefer hassle-free digital services over in-person office visits.
Recently, NADRA also added a new application tracking feature to the Pak ID app, making it easier for citizens to check the status of their requests online. All services related to CNICs, B-Forms, and Family Registration Certificates (FRCs) can now be accessed through the app.
