Intermittent rains are expected in the upper districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday night and Wednesday, while muggy conditions will continue in Peshawar and other areas of the province.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reports that a seasonal low-pressure system is present over northern Balochistan, with strong monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal reaching northeast Punjab and Kashmir.

As a result, humid weather is likely in Peshawar and most districts on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Partly cloudy skies with rain and thunderstorms are expected in Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Buner, Kohat, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Hangu, and Waziristan.

Peshawar’s maximum temperatures are forecast to stay between 35°C and 37°C on Wednesday and 36°C to 38°C on Thursday and Friday.

In the last 24 hours, parts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced rain, wind, and thunderstorms, while humid weather prevailed in Peshawar and other areas of the province.
