LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the launch of the next phase of the Honhaar Scholarship Programme.

In a post on X, she said the Honhaar Scholarship Portal is now open for a new round of applications and urged students to apply with confidence and dedication.

“My dear students of Punjab! Your dreams are the heartbeat of Punjab’s future,” she wrote. “Through the Honhaar Scholarship Programme, we have given 80,000 young people the wings to grow. 50,000 have already received their scholarships, 30,000 more are on the way, and many more will follow.”

Since its launch last year, the programme has offered opportunities in 67 “future-ready” fields to help students gain skills for a better future.

Maryam Nawaz said that students’ achievements will always be her greatest pride and encouraged them to study with passion.
