Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, addressing the Arab-Islamic Emergency Summit in Qatar, expressed complete solidarity with Qatar and strongly condemned Israel’s attack, calling it an assault on the entire Muslim Ummah.

He said the gathering was taking place in the backdrop of a tragic and significant incident, stressing that Israel had openly violated the sovereignty and security of Qatar. Pakistan, he added, condemns this aggression in the strongest terms.

The Prime Minister noted that Israel’s attack on Qatar was part of its continued hostile actions, which have severely undermined peace efforts in the region. He questioned Israel’s intentions behind engaging in talks while simultaneously pursuing aggressive measures, saying its blatant disregard for international law was unacceptable.

Highlighting the humanitarian crisis, Shehbaz Sharif said innocent civilians in Gaza were suffering helplessly, and Israel must be held accountable for war crimes under international law.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s stance, the Prime Minister said his country seeks the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders. He warned that history would not forgive the world if collective action was not taken immediately.
