ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has exposed a coordinated disinformation campaign launched by the Afghan Taliban regime and Indian networks against Pakistan.

According to the ministry’s spokesperson, several social media accounts linked to India and the Afghan Taliban are spreading fake news, old videos, and misleading images in an organized attempt to malign Pakistan.

Old Chaman Gathering Videos Circulated as New

The spokesperson revealed that the videos being shared online actually belong to the Chaman gathering of December 2022, but are being circulated as recent footage to mislead the public.

The ministry clarified that this is part of a systematic propaganda effort aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.
