MULTAN: Former ticket holders of the banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) from South Punjab have announced their complete disassociation from the party’s violent political approach, pledging unwavering support for the security and stability of Pakistan and expressing solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces.

Speaking at a press conference, former TLP candidate Muhammad Hussain Babar said that Pakistan’s armed forces had given a fitting response to Indian aggression, adding that the party’s recent protest call was “unjustified and irresponsible.”

He emphasized that at a time when Pakistan faces serious external challenges, giving a call for nationwide agitation was inappropriate and against national interests. “Pakistan will stand forever, no one can dare look at it with a hostile eye,” he said, reaffirming his loyalty to the state.

Babar further stated that enemy forces will never succeed in their nefarious designs, and the decision to part ways with the banned TLP was made voluntarily and out of respect for the sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs, not under any external pressure.

Another former TLP ticket holder, Rao Arif Sajjad, said Pakistan cannot afford internal unrest and chaos. “Peace is returning to Palestine; therefore, there was no justification for violent protests in our own country,” he added.

He cautioned that enemy powers are openly working to destabilize Pakistan, urging the nation to stay united. “This is not the time for politics, it is the time for national unity,” he stressed.

The former TLP members reiterated that India is attempting to create instability within Pakistan, but the Pakistan Army has always stood firmly with the nation in every difficult time.
