Govt increases petrol, diesel prices for next fortnight

The government has announced increase in petrol and high-speed diesel prices for the next two weeks, starting October 1.

According to a notification from the Ministry of Finance, petrol has gone up by Rs4.70, setting the new price at Rs268.68 per litre. High-speed diesel has risen by Rs4.40, with the new rate fixed at Rs276.81 per litre.

These revised prices will stay in effect for the first half of October.
