Karachi Police and University of Karachi will further promote cooperation. Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odho appreciated role of Criminology Department in Educational & research activities.

He said modern research and practical training are foundation through which students of Criminology can play an effective role in the investigation and research of crimes in the future.

Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odho, along with DIG Investigation, participated in Project Fair 2025 organized by Department of Criminology of University of Karachi.

On this occasion, He expressed his desire that students be provided with better opportunities for practical training so that the police can benefit from research on scientific grounds.

On this occasion, He met with Professor Dr. Naeema Saeed, Professor Dr. Ghulam Muhammad, Dr. Altaf, Dr. Zahid, Dr. Rozi Ali and other faculty members and students.

Police Chief inspected various Departments related to criminology, where students presented their research and creative projects on criminology topics.
