The temporary ceasefire between the Afghan Taliban government and Pakistan has been extended. The extension was made at the request of the Afghan Taliban government.

According to diplomatic sources, the temporary ceasefire between Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban government has been extended until the conclusion of the ongoing talks in Doha.

The high-level negotiations are expected to begin tomorrow (Saturday). The 48-hour temporary ceasefire had ended at 6 p.m. on Friday.
