PM Shehbaz calls recent Saudi Arabia visit ‘Truly Unique’
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said his recent visit to Saudi Arabia was completely unique compared to his previous ones. He praised the Saudi people for always showing love and support for Pakistan.
Speaking at a luncheon hosted in honor of the Saudi delegation at the Prime Minister’s House, Shehbaz Sharif said, “We are sitting here as one family. I have been in politics for 40 years and first visited Saudi Arabia in the late 1960s.”
Prince Mansour bin Muhammad Al Saud, who led the Saudi delegation, said they were in Pakistan to attend the Pakistan-Saudi Joint Business Council meeting. He added that before coming to Pakistan, he met with several key Saudi ministers and briefed them on potential strategic projects in Pakistan.
Prince Mansour said the Saudi ministers had fully supported these strategic plans. He assured that Saudi investors would receive all possible facilities to invest in Pakistan.
He further said that Saudi Arabia is focusing on the same sectors that Prime Minister Shehbaz highlighted during the discussions.
